Yesterday Smith Barney. Today Swiss Bank Corp. So S.G. Warburg is dancing with another partner now. It's unclear which, if either, will take Warburg home. But one thing is clear. Warburg's technologists and technology in Asia Pacific would be far more likely to dominate in a merged Warburg-Smith Barney group than they would if the firm is bought by SBC. Warburg in Asia has been using Reuters' Triarch for some time. Smith Barney in New York has barely come to grips with its Triarch installation
