Corporate Actions: Where Consistency Is a Virtue -- Webcast
Archive recording of June 4 webcast covering corporate actions discrepancy issues
Differences in key pieces of corporate actions data, such as names, dates, identifying information and transaction details, when obtained from different sources, have increasingly become a problem for processing efforts. These differences, along with accuracy and completeness concerns that were already present, comprise a big challenge for the industry's corporate actions professionals. This webcast will explore which data fields are generating the most issues, and how the industry as a whole is seeking to improve corporate actions handling, with those challenges in mind.
What issues are created by discrepancies in key data fields?
What methods are being deployed to reconcile those differences?
How are data discrepancies further fueling issues with accuracy and completeness?
What are other causes of accuracy and completeness problems?
What effect might all of these challenges have when more complex corporate actions have to be addressed and processed?
