TeleWare Opens Call Recording Records

Canary Wharf at night
National regulators, such as the FSA, are requiring communications recording and storage for audit.

The application will allow users to open records stored through its TeleWare Mobile and TeleWare Mobile Compliance Call Recording and SMS auditing suites. Call recording has become a major aspect of compliance, with European regulation such as the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid) mandating it, along with individual efforts by national regulators.

"The demand for easy and secure access to stored records has increased with the widespread deployment of our product which records calls for mobile users in the financial sector to bring them in line with financial legislation," says Danny Hensby, product manager for TeleWare Mobile. "We are making the new application, which brings an enhanced look and feel to the underlying functionality, immediately available to all our mobile customers and training has already been rolled out."
