Panel: Anti-Gaming Shifts to the Background

Anti-gaming techniques are not as much of a focus for the buy side as they were a few years ago, say panelists at TradeTech West in San Francisco.

Tabb Group analyst Adam Sussman says those conversations dry up when he asks the buy side what is important to them. Maximizing performance is foremost on the agenda. If that includes the incorporation of some anti-gaming strategies, then so be it. But buy-side firms are no longer isolating anti-gaming as a checklist item.
