Direct Edge Preps IP Changes
New Jersey-based equities exchange operator Direct Edge plans to deploy changes for its EDGA and EDGX exchange matching engines that will reduce latency on the platforms.
Because of these changes, Direct Edge clients will have to change their port IP addresses from virtual addresses to static addresses to connect for order entry and the creation of drop copies.
Direct Edge will send clients new IP addresses that correspond to their logical ports in mid-September. Firms will receive an IP address
