Barclays: e-FX Now Majority of Trade in Emerging Markets

According to a recent survey by Barclays Capital, more than half of foreign exchange (FX) traders are now executing their emerging markets trades electronically.

In the survey of more than 1,300 institutional investors, 68 percent say they now trade more than half of their emerging market FX volume electronically, up from 47 percent in 2008.
