Nomura Debuts Ultra-Low-Latency DMA

Global investment bank Nomura is now live with NXT Direct, an ultra-low-latency direct market access (DMA) offering that the bank claims delivers latencies of below 3 microseconds for 99.99 percent of the trade messages.

"This is wire-to-wire latency that is measured before the order enters our server to after it leaves the server and is sent to the exchange's switch," explains Sanjoy Choudhury, executive director at Nomura Holdings.
