ADVA Sees Demand Grow for Fractional Fiber Technology

Network technology vendor ADVA Optical Networking expects several network service providers to deploy its FSP 3000 optical networking technology in Chicago, London and Tokyo, to meet demand for low-latency connectivity to data from multiple exchanges and trading venues within those markets.

ADVA is expecting to have agreements in place in the coming months with the unnamed service providers in Chicago, London and Tokyo to provide its wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) optical transport, or
