Former NYSE Technologist Proposes Simplex X-ING Net

Steve Wunsch isn't the only guy on the Street who wants to improve on the New York Stock Exchange's trading mechanism (TST, March 12). Chris Keith, a former senior vice president and senior technology officer at the New York Stock Exchange, is promoting SIMPLEX, an enhanced electronic crossing network. Keith believes SIMPLEX can enlist the participation of brokers and benefit the NYSE's price discovery mechanism.
