Exchanges Heat Up

If you asked anyone two years ago what would be the hottest topic in the financial space in 2006, "exchanges" would have drawn laughs of disbelief. Not so anymore. Exchanges are heating up as they adapt to rapidly changing market structures, new IT infrastructures and possible mergers and IPOs that will reshape the industry.
