Symphony Taps Former Skype, FaceTime, Microsoft Execs to Head Product, Sales

Officials say the new hires will increase Symphony's capacity to workwiht customers and create innovative technology.

Christensen is responsible for Symphony’s product and design, covering its platform, enterprise infrastructure, and customer-facing experiences for desktop and mobile. He was previously co-founder and chief executive of private messaging app Wire—where he remains vice chairman—prior to which he spent almost six years at Skype, including as vice president of emerging opportunities, and as general manager of its platform, having joined the company as a result of its purchase of voice over IP
