Allie Harris has accepted a data role with Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation

The former head of data governance and analytics at BMO Financial Group is leaving financial services behind. Allie Harris is now the director of information governance at Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).

“I’m responsible for the InfoGov framework and the implementation of that framework across the enterprise,” she says. “OLG’s mission is to generate revenue for the Province; stimulate and enhance economic development; and promote high standards of responsible gambling—all in the best interests of the Province of Ontario.”

Before joining BMO, Harris was a director, then senior director of process measurement and analytics at CIBS, a Toronto-based bank. Prior to that, she led enterprise data warehousing teams for University Health Network. She has also served as president of the Information Resource Management Association of Canada, a non-profit, vendor-independent association of information management and business professionals.

Harris is a co-convenor for Technical Committee (TC) 68, which authors, supports and maintains ISO 20022, a single standardization approach for financial services developed through the International Organization for Standardization.
