AxiomSL Partners with SKS for German Markets
The regtech provider and consultancy aim to combine their technology and regulatory expertise to cater to the German-speaking market.
AxiomSL has partnered with SKS Unternehmensberatung to extend its market presence and positioning in Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg.
The provider of regulatory reporting and risk management technology aims to use SKS’s consultancy expertise and knowledge of regulatory reporting in the regions. Strategic talks began last summer, to establish how the two firms could expand their delivery of technologies in line with domestic and European Union (EU) regulatory banking obligations and speed up implementations. Buncak Saykam, business development manager at AxiomSL, explains that the partnership emerged as both firms are “complementary” to each other, given they share a common client base and mutual business offerings.
He adds that the strategic move developed due to the demand for a joint implementation and consultancy approach to regulation across the German-speaking market.
“AxiomSL provides the robust platform needed in the German-speaking market for either the Deutsche Bundesbank, the Swiss regulator, the Austrian regulator or the Luxembourg regulator,” he says. “So we offer the technology and SKS bring the expertise when it comes to implementation and interpretation of local regulatory requirements.”
The German-based consultancy provides regulatory expertise to firms from inception to implementation, such as identifying reporting obligations, understanding the technical requirements, testing and production. SKS will assist AxiomSL with client implementation projects, along with the drafting and submission of regulatory reports to local and EU banking supervisory authorities.
Jan Hrynko, COO SKS Unternehmensberatung adds that the partnership will enable the consultancy to respond more effectively to its clients’ domestic and global needs.
