Wiener Börse officials say the service will provide a reliable source of data for traders to perform stock selection, or to minimize index tracking error, and to be aware of important events, such as when a new listing will begin trading or when a stock is suspended, as well as to understand the monetary impact of a corporate action─such as the exact amount of a dividend payment to be reinvested─and was developed in response to increased customer demand for "high-quality" data from the region.
