Regulators Take Aim at Market Malfeasance with Industry-Supplied Surveillance System

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) turned heads last year when it contracted high-frequency trading firm Tradeworx to provide it with sale prices and quote information for equities and options trades.
