Equinix Preps Fourth Paris Center

Datacenter and co-location provider Equinix is building a fourth datacenter in the center of Paris, which it aims to open in the third quarter of 2012 to meet sustained demand for low-latency connectivity in France and continental Europe.

The facility will ultimately offer 11,000 square meters of space, and more than 4,500 cabinets. The first phase will make 1,500 cabinets available initially, and will cost around $145 million.
