Markit Buys Fitch CDS Pricing Biz

Fitch will sell its CDS pricing to Markit, then license back the data, officials say.

Under the terms of the deal, Fitch Solutions will license the CDS pricing from Markit for use in its risk analytics, implied ratings and other derived data.

Markit already provides independent CDS pricing of single names, indexes and tranches to support pricing, risk, compliance, research and valuations, officials say.

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
