BNY Mellon Names Sue Baines Head of Sales for EMEA

BNY Mellon Asset Servicing has named Sue Baines head of sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). BNY Mellon nabbed Baines from Northern Trust, where she served as senior vice president, head of GFS sales for EMEA.

Baines will be based in London and will report to Frank Froud, who heads BNY Mellon Asset Servicing's EMEA operations.

"The EMEA region is very much the engine that will drive our strategic global growth plans in the coming years," Froud says. "We are strongly positioned to assist clients to grow their businesses in what remains a challenging business environment via scaleable and innovative solutions and a highly consultative approach to investment servicing."

In addition to her time at Northern Trust, Baines has also served stints at Clearstream in Luxembourg and at Barclays.
