Bloomberg PolarLake is expanding its Asia-Pacific presence with a second regional office in Sydney

Bloomberg PolarLake is opening a new office in Sydney.

"Companies in Australia and Asia are dealing with an explosion of data within an increasingly demanding regulatory and reporting environment," says PolarLake CEO John Randles.

The Dublin-based enterprise data managment (EDM) provider already has a presence in the Asia-Pacific market—an office in Singapore.

"We decided to bring our EDM model to Asia as demand is escalating for a comprehensive service that reduces operational costs and standardizes data processing for financial firms."

Bloomberg LP acquired PolarLake in 2012 as part of its entry into the enterprise data management business. In 2014, Bloomberg PolarLake was awarded Best EDM Systems Provider in Waters' Annual Technology Rankings.
