European Solvency II Data Template Proposed

London-based Investment Management Association joins French and German associations in planning tri-partite Solvency II data template

Industry organizations in the UK, Germany and France have collaborated on a data exchange template for reporting requirements of the Solvency II regulation, which takes effect on January 1, 2016.

The Investment Management Association in the UK, BVI in Germany, and Club Ampere of the French Asset Management Association have issued a tripartite data exchange table template. According to officials of the organizations, testing and coordination with IT suppliers must be completed before the template is implemented. The organizations plan to review the template by the end of 2014.
