Fincad Adds Fintech Execs Brittan, Fite to Board
The fintech veterans will lend their experience to contribute to Fincad's growth.
Brittan is currently general partner of Crazy Peak, an investment and advisory firm specializing in early-stage technology companies, a board member of financial advisor machine-learning platform Finworx, and an advisor to private equity firm The Carlyle Group.
Between 2001 and 2015, he was chief technology officer and global head of platform in Thomson Reuters' Financial & Risk division, prior to which he was director of product management for Google Finance and Google Local Search.
Before joining Google in 2010, Brittan spent six years at Bloomberg as global business manager for foreign exchange and economics analytics and trading within the Bloomberg Professional terminal. Prior to that, he held senior roles at several technology companies, including Astrogamma, where he architected much of the Fenics FX pricing software.
Fite is principal of fintech consulting firm Fite Analytics, which he founded last March after leaving Intercontinental Exchange-owned Interactive Data, where he was president of the vendor's BondEdge Solutions portfolio management and risk analytics division.
Before joining Interactive Data in 2014, Fite served as a senior advisor to change management consulting firm Pcubed, prior to which he was chief operating officer of Moody's Analytics and COO and CTO of Moody's KMV. Before that, he was vice president of institutional investment consulting at Morningstar, following its 2003 acquisition of MPower Advisors, where he was COO and CTO.
Fincad officials say the pair's experience will contribute to accelerating the vendor's growth.
