Morningstar Revamps Ratings for Fund Comparisons

The move will allow investors to more easily compare ETFs and open-end funds, Morningstar officials say.

Officials say the changes will make it easier for investors to compare investments across different fund types.

The new ratings will be available via Morningstar's data products and its Morningstar Direct, Advisor Workstation and Morningstar Office platforms, as well as on Morningstar.com.
