FactSet Adopts ‘Streamlined’ MSCI Files
FactSet Research Systems has adopted index provider MSCI’s Integrated Client File delivery format, which makes it easier for the vendor and its clients to capture and integrate data on MSCI’s custom indexes as well as its thematic and strategy indexes.
MSCI introduced the ICF format last year, which it uses to distribute data on different custom indexes in the same format, and to consolidate different index files into the same delivery package, so that clients can process the data into their
