Quotron FX Gets New Name, And Commitment, From Citi

PROPRIETARY EXECUTION

Citicorp's last piece of its former Quotron subsidiary, Quotron Foreign Exchange, has changed its name to Citicorp Dealing Resources (CDR). The move comes some months after Citi's sale of the bulk of Quotron's business to Reuters this spring (TST, April 18) -- a sale which included the Quotron name. The name change signals the holding company's commitment to the business -- which observers have long expected Citi to sell -- according to CDR president Michael Togher.
