Outright sales Of Dealing Room Systems Up 41% While Reuters Shows Lackluster Growth Overall

Although UK-based Reuters had a lackluster 8 per cent growth in overall revenues during the first quarter of this year, it did show a 41 per cent boost in the outright sale of Reuters' Prism video switches, the Triarch 2000 and Tibco's TIB digital data distribution systems, and risk management systems.

Compared to last year, total sales in this category for 1997 were $66 million, up 41 per cent ex-currency or 27 per cent after British pound exchange rates, officials said.
