Morgan Stanley Tests Workstation Software From Tibco, Dow Jones, Reuters And Bridge

Morgan Stanley--a firm that has long prided itself on proprietary trading room solutions--is in the process of reviewing four off-the-shelf trading workstation software solutions for its equities traders and analysts in New York and London.

A source at Morgan Stanley involved in the review says the firm is considering: Dow Jones Markets' new workstation package, Active1; Bridge Information Systems' Bridgestation; Tibco's Marketsheet for Windows; and Reuters' Kobra.
