Reuters Results Above Expectation; But Instinet Revenue Growth Slows

Despite better than expected first quarter 1997 financials, Reuters is seeing a slowdown in the growth of its Instinet equities trading service, and has cautioned that it will not see any revenue growth in 1996 from its 3000 series products, which it plans to target at buyside firms and investment researchers on the sell side.
