Activ Financial Joins BT Radianz Cloud

Vendor aims to accelerate growth and expand its client footprint using cloud services.

Cloud computing

BT Radianz’s cloud services will allow the fintech firm to tap into a global network of customers and build relationships with the likes of investment banks, hedge funds and portfolio managers. Mike Misiaszek, global head of sales at Activ Financial, explains that this move allows Activ to expand its data coverage and feeds more efficiently across markets it has never entered before, including smaller markets.

“We are looking forward to it being much more efficient and quicker onboarding of customers that are already connected to BT Cloud—and these are just some of the benefits,” he says.

BT Radianz Cloud offers a closed community where the data is stored and transferred offline to enable a more secure cloud network. BT connects with Activ and its access points through the NY4 data center in New York and from that broadcasts its data to global customers through this closed system.

“We are a closed community, so we don’t interface with the internet,” says Yousaf Hafeez, head of business development at BT Financial Technology Services. “We are very cautious in terms of who accesses our services and because there is no access to the internet we could be a lot more secure than many other services out there.”
