WHY THEY WON

Managed services are becoming more popular in the capital markets and Rimes winning this award shows that its push into managed services and its continued investment has not gone unnoticed.

WHAT’S NEW

Brad Hunt was appointed CEO in June to drive Rimes’ Lean Data Management strategy.

The Lean Data Management solution is a cloud-based, service-led approach geared toward data operations. The approach resolves challenges associated with costly, inflexible data management technology.

The vendor also made its ETF Data Management solution, a data domain of MDS, available on AWS and Snowflake to increase reach and customer choice.

And it launched Rimes Technologies Index Identifier, which provides a new process for gaining insight into benchmarks and indexes, and addresses issues associated with tracking the identifiers used by index providers and by front-office information platforms.

WHAT’S TO COME

Rimes plans to launch its newest ESG data management solution, which aims to help asset management firms quickly access high-quality data to evaluate the sustainable credentials of any asset for enterprise-wide use. It is a fully managed, end-to-end cloud-based service that offers transparent and actionable ESG data.

The solution will include a vendor-agnostic library of ESG sources, extensive cross-referencing and harmonization across sources, mapping from issuer to issue, and a suite of desktop and analytics tools.
